When should I order my wedding invitations?

Follow these guidelines:

6 Months Prior
You should have a compiled guest list with addresses.

4 Months Prior
You need to order your invitations. Invitations should take 1-3 weeks to receive. You should begin addressing your invitations upon arrival
(or hire a calligrapher if you are going to do so)

6-8 Weeks Prior
Mail invitations out (depending on how many out of town guests you have on your list)

2 Weeks Prior
All responses should be in and counted (your caterer will need a head count)
